$45 each. These stoneware cups are wheel thrown, hand carved and fired in a wood and salt kiln. The outer surface of the cups are left unglazed to display the path of the flame, ash, and salt vapor. The inner surface is lined with a food safe shino glaze. Each piece has distinct markings, revealing the process of the firing.
These cups fit perfectly in your hand. Each holds approximately 225 ml.
Wood firing is a labour of love that requires many hours of commitment. The results are often unpredictable and no two pieces will ever look the same.
Handwash recommended.
