Kristen designs with the intention to create honest, unassuming, and beautifully timeless products that softly meld into our everyday lives. Creating both functional everyday objects, as well as visual art pieces, she is inspired by the tactile qualities of natural fabrics and fibre materials. She works in a variety of methods; weaving by hand and on looms, operating electric tufting guns and employing traditional sewing methods.
Morning person or night owl?
Oh my gosh, night owl. Mornings are my Everest.
Favorite season?
Fall. Everything about fall. The smell, the foods, the fashion, the wonderfully melancholy complexion. Its all so lovely.
Favorite flower?
Peony!
