Lisa is a visual artist and makes ceramic and textile art objects. Her work is focused in concepts of domesticity, personal coping mechanisms, and traditional methods of making. She creates both functional and non-functional objects that range vastly in scale.
Morning person or night owl? Morning person. That is to say, I am most productive in the morning, not that I enjoy waking up early. I’d like to enjoy waking up early.
Your favourite daily ritual? Quiet time in the morning before heading off to work, sipping coffee with R.
The smell that brings you back to your childhood. My mom makes this dessert called ‘butterscotchy almond bars’ at Christmastime and smelling that smell, transports me back.
